Garage Wall: What should I do?

We have a pretty neat garage. Its really big. It has a cool, old door and window. And it has a cinder block wall on one side.

I don't know what to do. But here is my main idea:

Yes, my solution to most problems: Paint it.

I love painting. I think it will look nice, and it will seal the wall. Any thoughts? Color ideas? I am thinking white or an off-white. Or should I do something entirely different? And not even paint it? TOO MANY QUESTIONS!

Yay flowers!

So today I began the long awaited journey of planting one of our flower beds. I guess a week isn't THAT long awaited, but it is a little. :) We bought the first set of flowers from Fred Meyer, and I will continue to add until I think it looks complete!

Pink and White Geraniums. LOVE them!

Blue something or other. My mom picked them out.

And the lovely flowerbed.

Okay its hideous.

But I promise it gets better.

After cutting back the whatever they were, getting rid of the GIANT ugly hose, and raking the dirt around, it looks MUCH better.

PS- This flowerbed is also home to the MOST potato bugs I have ever seen in one place in my life.

No joke.

So after that, I set up the flowers how I thought I wanted them. I changed it a couple times, but came up with this set up. I really like it.

It does need more flowers though.

But like I said, I will be adding all the time until it looks right. :)

Yes I named my Mac Apple. But not after the computer company, after Chris Martin and Gwyenth Paltrow's daughter. Yeah, yeah.

So there you have it, the beginning of my garden!

Flowers!

Today I am planting a nice little garden in our backyard.

After I get my hair done.

And buy the flowers.

Then I will have a cute little garden party in the backyard with lemonade and cinnamon toast. I am addicted, what can I say.

New house.

And welcome to my new house! Sweet little door in the front door, huh?

I love the old school mailbox. No more ugly metal lock box.

And the kitchen. Don't mind the stuff on the counter, we were JUST moving in.

Again, a table-less kitchen.

Lastly, my lovely, giant window in my room. I love it.

I will definitely post more pictures once we are completely moved in. But this will just have to do for now.

This is why I love my job.

Brody. Bro. Brojo. Brosicle. Bubba. Piglet.

I spend 8 hours a day with this kid. He is hilarious. And he has style.

And he naps for 2-3 hours. He's a growing boy for sure.
